SIOUX FALLS, SD – Dominick Etherington has earned his first career indoor TicketSmarter Summit League Men's Field Peak Performer of the Week honor following a career-best week of competition.
Etherington won the shot put at the USD Alumni Meet with a personal best throw of 60-03.75, which places him in second on the all-time list and in first of the Summit League standings.
He also finished second with a career best mark of 61-09.00 in the weight throw that now puts him seventh on the school record list and third on the league performance list this season.
The Jackrabbits will host the SDSU Indoor Classic on Feb. 10 and 11 at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.
