South Dakota State makes the trip to Boise this weekend for the team's final non-conference road trip. The Jacks enter the tournament 2-7 on the season.

KEY STORYLINES

Katie Van Egdom and Sylvie Zgonc are averaging 3.50 and 3.29 kills per set, respectively, as outside hitters through nine matches this year.
Van Egdom was named to the Ole Miss all-tournament team last weekend after averaging 3.30 kills to lead the Jacks.
Van Egdom and Zgonc rank second and fifth among the Summit League in kills per set.
Libero Stella Winterfeld averages 3.69 digs per set so far this year, which ranks fourth in the Summit League.
Of the seven players that have appeared in all nine matches, four are newcomers and three are returners from 2022.
Depite their 2-7 mark, SDSU ranks third in the Summit in team kills per set (12.81) and hitting percentage (.226).
The Jackrabbits enter their fourth of five consecutive weekends on the road as their home court, Frost Arena, is completing the first phase of renovations. SDSU will not host a match until September 28.
State returns three starters from last season in Raegen Reilly, Masa Scheierman and Elyse Winter. The Jacks also bring back Katie Van Egdom and Alia Schlimgen, who saw significant time in the rotation a year ago.
The Jackrabbit roster features a blend of eight returners and seven newcomers. The newcomer group is highlighted by the addition of Louisville transfer Sydni Schetnan, who joined the team in January.
Raegen Reilly dished 1,307 assists in her sophomore campaign, which is good for first place on SDSU's single-season assists chart for the current scoring era.
Masa Scheierman was a Summit League All-Freshman Team selection last season. She ranked second in kills per set for the Jacks in 2022 behind Crystal Burk.
