SIOUX FALLS, SD – South Dakota State's own Carson Noecker and Leah (Hansen) Hisken were each named the season's first TicketSmarter Summit League Cross Country Peak Performers of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday.

In his Jackrabbit debut, Noecker took the crown in the four mile at the Augustana Twilight on Sept 1. with a clocking of 18:55.99, a full 10 seconds ahead of the next finisher. His placing helped push the SDSU men to claim first place in a field of 32 teams.

Hisken finished third in the 5k to lead SDSU as all five scoring runners placed in the top 20. Her time of 17:32.94 was .88 seconds off her PR and guided the Jackrabbit women to a second place team finish out of 29 teams.

This is Noecker's first career and Hisken's sixth career weekly accolade.

SDSU will return home to host the SDSU Classic at the Edgebrook Golf Course on Sept. 8^th beginning at 6 p.m.
