STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Tanner Jordan and Cade DeVos competed at the NWCA All-Star Classic on Saturday.
The NWCA All-Star Classic is an exhibition event that took place at Rec Hall on the campus of Penn State in State College, Pa. The event featured five women's matches and 11 men's matches between highly ranked competitors.
DeVos faced off against Levi Haines, who was making his debut at 174 pounds. DeVos was called for stalling early in the match and was down 0-2 heading to the third period. DeVos nearly scored a reversal after being on the bottom to start the third but couldn't quite pull it off, allowing Haines to score four near-fall points at the end, dropping the match, 7-0.
Jordan stepped up to the mat to face Jore Volk for the fifth time in his collegiate career at 125 pounds. The senior from St. Paris, Ohio, struggled to gain footing and ultimately dropped the match, 8-2, after Volk scored two takedowns late in periods one and three.

The Jacks are back in action tomorrow for the Warren Williamson Daktronics Invitational. The invitational will occur at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex beginning at 10 a.m. The invite will host wrestlers from NDSU, Minnesota, Nebraska, Air Force, Arizona State, Oklahoma, and several Jackrabbit wrestlers.
