South Dakota State enters the Summit League postseason as the No. 1 seed for the first time since 2007. SDSU has a bye for the first-round and will take on either No. 4 NDSU or No. 5 in the semifinal match Monday afternoon in Kansas City.

KEY STORYLINES

South Dakota State, picked to finish sixth in the Summit's preseason poll, won the regular season title for the first time since 2007, the Jacks' first season in the League.
SDSU's Dan Georgalas was named the Summit League Coach of the Year for the first time in his five-year stint as head coach.
Sylvie Zgonc was tabbed the Summit League Player of the Year. She is the third player in League history to win Freshman of the Year followed by Player of the Year in their sophomore season.
Madison Burr is the Summit League Freshman of the Year. A Jackrabbit has picked up the honor is consecutive seasons (Sylvie Zgonc).
Sydni Schetnan was voted to the Summit League First Team. She has a .401 hit percentage on the season and averages 1.23 blocks per set.
SDSU is one of three Summit teams to finish with one or fewer losses in conference play since 2010.
The Jackrabbits' 15 conference wins is the most single-season conference victories in the Division I era (since 2004).
South Dakota State is receiving votes in the latest AVCA/Taraflex Volleyball Poll (Nov. 18) for the seventh consecutive week and is No. 31 in the RPI.
As a team, South Dakota State ranks 11th nationally in blocks per set (2.78) and 14th in opponent hitting percentage (.155). Both marks lead the Summit in overall matches.
SDSU went 26-1 in the regular season and played five five-set matches. Their lone loss was decided by two points in the fifth. The Jackrabbits were the last remaining unbeaten team in NCAA Division I.
Setter Rylee Martin's 37 ace serves is a new single-season record for SDSU. She also dishes 6.64 assists per set in the Jacks' 6-2 offense.
