A forecast for wintry weather across the Upper Midwest over the next several days has forced a change in format and location for South Dakota State's weekend Summit League baseball series against St. Thomas.
Â
The three-game series is now scheduled to be played in Omaha, Nebraska, at Tal Anderson Field on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus. Friday's series opener is slated for an 11 a.m. first pitch. The series is scheduled to conclude with a doubleheader Saturday, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Both squads are coming off three-game road sweeps during the first weekend of Summit League action. SDSU is 10-11 overall, while St. Thomas is 8-10 overall.
