FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - South Dakota State's
Nora Peterson highlighted the second day of the NCAA West Regional with a school-record javelin performance.
Peterson, a junior, posted a 47.66-meter mark on her first throw of the day. That distance matches her school record and was good for fifth in her heat. She placed 29th overall.
Brielle Dixon ran the 100-meter hurdles in 13.63 and placed 36th overall.
Leah Hisken placed 33rd in the 10,000 meters (35:36.54).
The Jackrabbits' week in Arkansas continues with two men's events Friday and one women's event Saturday.
