GENEVA, Ohio —South Dakota State wrestler Cael Swensen recorded a runner-up finish in the 74-kilogram division in freestyle competition over the weekend at the 2024 U23 Nationals held at SPIRE Institute.
A native of Plymouth, Minnesota, and a two-time NCAA qualifier, the fourth-seeded Swensen moved into the championship round with five consecutive victories during competition on Saturday.
