David Bosch swept the breaststroke events and Deshawn Campbell won both diving events as the South Dakota State men's swimming and diving team opened the home portion of its schedule with a 198-100 victory over Augustana Friday afternoon at the Marshall Center Pool.
The Jackrabbits evened their dual record at 1-1 while Augustana dropped to 0-2.
A sophomore from Windsor, Colorado, Bosch swam to victories in both the 50-yard breaststroke (26.25 seconds) and 100 (58.07 seconds).
Bosch also swam the breaststroke leg of the Jackrabbits' winning 400 medley relay, which opened the meet with a pool-record time of 3 minutes, 24.17 seconds. Also contributing to the relay victory were Colby Williams, Braxton McGrath and Zavier Kranz.
Williams and Kranz also were part of the winning 200 freestyle relay and added individual victories of their own. Williams won the 100 backstroke in 52.25 seconds and Kranz swam to victory in the 100 freestyle, 47.49 seconds.
Making up the other half of the winning 200 freestyle relay were Eric Anderson and freshman Colt Frein.
Other winners in the freestyle events for the Jackrabbits were Jack Ellison in the 500 (4:48.51) and freshman Luke Watkins in the 1,000 (9:52.82).
Campbell, meanwhile, tallied 287.10 points over six dives in the 1-meter diving competition after tallying 285.23 points en route to victory on the 3-meter board.
Rounding out the list of the Jackrabbits' dozen event winners were freshman Zack Heiar in the 50 backstroke (24.22 seconds) and Cody Vertin in the 200 individual medley (1:56.03).

The Jackrabbits are slated to close out an abbreviated home schedule with a rematch against Augustana on Oct. 17. The Vikings were a late replacement for Iowa Central on the schedule, with the Senior Day dual meet set for a 5 p.m. start at the Marshall Center Pool.
