SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State freshman
Jenna Maloy was selected on Tuesday as the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, the conference office announced. The honor is the second of the season for Maloy.
The SDSU midfielder scored a combined five points for the Jackrabbits this past week. Maloy accounted for an assist in SDSU's 2-2 draw against UND on Thursday. She then recorded her first brace of her career making up SDSU's two goals in their 2-0 win over NDSU on Sunday.
Across 146 minutes played, Maloy had seven shots with six on goal. In her debut season at the collegiate level, Maloy now sits in a tie for the team lead with four goals and is second on the squad with 11 points.
South Dakota State next travels to Denver to face the Pioneers at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday. The Jackrabbits return home on Sunday for Senior Day. SDSU will host Omaha for a 1 p.m. contest at Fishback Soccer Park.
