BROOKINGS, S.D. - The South Dakota State volleyball team will play four dates this spring in exhibition matches against regional opponents.
The Jacks open the spring season on March 29 at the TVA Collegiate Challenge in Omaha. Teams and game times are still to be determined.
SDSU will host a triangular on April 5 at First Bank and Trust Arena. The Jackrabbits will take on Minnesota at 10 a.m., then Creighton at 3:30 p.m. Minnesota and Creighton will play each other at 1:30 p.m. The Jackrabbits will also host Southwest Minnesota State on April 16 at 7 p.m. All spring matches at First Bank & Trust Arena will be open to the public with free admission.
The team will wrap up the spring season against Nebraska at 2 p.m. on May 3 at Ord High School in Ord, Nebraska. Tickets for the match against the Huskers will still go on sale to the public Saturday, April 12 at 8 a.m. at Ord High School, starting at Door 19 on the east side of the new gym. Tickets for the match are $15. All seats are general admission. Tickets must be purchased in person, with cash only, by someone at least 16 years old. A maximum of four tickets are available per person. Lost tickets will not be replaced. Tickets will not be available through the Nebraska athletic ticket offices.
