ST. PAUL, Minn. — Rain and lightning Friday afternoon forced play in the Summit League baseball series opener between South Dakota State and St. Thomas to be suspended in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Play is scheduled to resume at 1 p.m. Friday at Koch Diamond with St. Thomas leading the Jackrabbits, 13-6. Game 2 of the series will follow shortly after the conclusion of the suspended game.
