Mages captured the league's top individual honor following a historic season that included claiming the 2026 Summit League individual championship and leading SDSU to the first Summit League team title in program history. The honor marks the first time a Jackrabbit has earned Golfer of the Year accolades since 2021. The Sioux Falls, S.D. native also paced the league in scoring average during the 2025-26 campaign with a 73.1 scoring average. Mages was the top Jackrabbit finisher at every event in her senior season and her 73.1 scoring average for the year ranks third in program history. She graduates with a 74.96 scoring average for her career, the second best career mark in program history.
Schneider guided the Jackrabbits to the program's first Summit League Championship title in 2026, besting the field by six strokes over three days in Arizona. The Jacks posted a 300.23 team scoring average for the year, the fourth best in program history. This is the first Coach of the Year honor for Schneider and first in South Dakota State program history.
