BROOKINGS, S.D. - Eight athletes from the South Dakota State wrestling and men's and women's golf teams were honored Tuesday on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® At Large Teams.
Representing the Jackrabbit wrestling team were:
Swensen picked up his second CSC Academic All-District honor, while Fettig and Roark each picked up their first Academic All-District honor. Swensen has been selected to advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America® consideration in July.
The honorees from the men's and women's golf teams were:
Mages picked up her third CSC Academic All-District honors, while Teeter was honored for the second time in his collegiate career. Boraas, Adkins, and Olson were all honored for the first time as Jackrabbits.
To be nominated for Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in athletic and academic standing and carry at least a 3.50 grade-point average.Â
The at-large squad comprises student-athletes competing in fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, skiing, tennis, water polo and wrestling.
