BROOKINGS, S.D. - The South Dakota State women's golf program has released its schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Jackrabbits will participate in four tournaments during the fall and six tournaments in the spring, including the Summit League Championships in late April, where they will look to defend their title after taking home the Summit League Championship in 2026.
The team will open the fall season at the Redbird Invitational hosted by Illinois State on September 12-13 in Normal, Illinois. The Jacks will then travel to Columbia, Missouri for the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri (September 21-22).Â
The Jacks will then have a month off of competition before heading back to the state of Missouri to compete in the MSU Payne Stewart Invitational hosted by Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri (October 13-14). The team will close out the fall slate at The Clash at Boulder Creek hosted by Northern Arizona on October 25-27 in Boulder City, Nevada.
SDSU will then kick off the spring season February 14-15 at the Spartan Suncoast Collegiate Invitational hosted by Michigan State in Sarasota, Florida, before heading to the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational hosted by Mercer in Greensboro, Georgia (Feb. 26-28). The Jacks will then host the Jackrabbits Invitational on March 16-17 in Boulder City, Nevada. The team then finishes out their regular season at the More Than Golf Invitational in Farmers Branch, Texas (March 20-22) and the Spring Boilermaker Invitational hosted by Purdue on April 11-12
The Summit League Championship event is slated for April 25-27 at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
Ericka Schneider returns for her fifth season with the Jackrabbits and is coming off a season where she coached the Jacks to their first-ever NCAA regional appearance and was named Summit League Coach of the Year. The team returns five golfers from last season, as well as adding four new freshmen to the squad for 2026-27.Â
