2020-21: Finalist in both of the backstroke events at the Summit League Championships, turning in a fifth-place time of 1:53.75 in the 200 back and clocking a sixth-place time of 51.08 seconds in the 100 … also placed 13th in the 100 butterfly (:51.85) … was runner-up in the 200 backstroke at USD Quad Duals … again placed second in the 200 backstroke as part of a 1-2-3 Jackrabbit sweep in home dual against South Dakota
2019-20: Placed eighth in the 200 back (1:55.17) and 10th in the 100 back (51.63) at 2020 Summit League Championships … swam career-bests in the 200 free (1:43.08), 50 back (24.58), 100 back, 200 back (1:53.66) and 100 fly (52.15) at conference championships … also recorded career-bests in the 100 free (48.27) and 200 fly (2:00.53) at Augustana Invitational and in the 50 free (22.47) and 500 free (4:54.48) at Jackrabbit Invitational.
BEFORE SDSU: Earned 12 state swimming medals from 2015-2019 … named Norfolk swim team MVP three times (2016-2019) … earned 2015-16 Norfolk swim team Hardest Worker Award … 2018, 2019 NCPA/NSAA Academic All-State Award recipient … named Semper Fidelis Athlete of the Meet in November 2018 … lettered in swim all four years … earned placement in Norfolk High School Hall of Fame with each of his 12 state medals … was named 2015 Newcomer of the Year on cross country team and lettered once while also lettering twice in track and field … began swimming at age seven while family lived in Malawi, Africa, and swam on the National Swim Team for two years before moving back to Norfolk
