2008: Played and started in 37 games and led the team with a .365 AVG (50-for-137)... was the team leader in OBP (.449) and had a SLG percentage of .482... recorded 15 multi hit games... had a stretch of six games (March 29 to April 11) where Martin reached base 17 times in only 15 at-bats... reached base in 12 straight games from to March 25 to April 18... had a five game stretch (April 6-18) where he batted .600 (12-for-20) with six RBI and with five doubles... best game of the season came when he went 5-for-7 with a home run, four RBI and scoring four times against Northern Colorado on March 28... went 4-for-5 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI at Dakota Wesleyan on April 15
2007: Had a tremendous season, catching 440.2 of the 443.2 innings the Jacks played ... hit .305 with 13 doubles, nine homers and 50 RBIs ... completely shut down the opposing running game, throwing out 16 of 36 attempted base stealers, a 45 percent success ratio, among the best in the nation ... drove in four or more runs on six different occasions ... hit two homers and had 6 RBIs in opener at Utah Valley State (Mar. 30) ... singled, doubled and tripled in win vs. North Dakota State (Apr. 7) ... homered and drove in four during middle game of three-game series vs. Northern Colorado (Apr. 21) ... was 8-for-17 with three homers, two doubles and six RBIs in four games at IPFW (Apr. 28-29) ... was 2-for-4 with two long balls and six RBIs against Chicago State in the Independent Tournament (May 24).
2006: Played 44 games behind the dish, starting 33 ... hit just .181 with two homers and 11 RBIs ... hit a triple and a home run while driving in three at Indiana State (Apr. 15) ... hit a grand slam in the finale of the home series with North Dakota State (Apr. 23).
Summer 2007: Helped the Fort Collins (Colo.) Foxes to a Mountain Collegiate League championship ... hit five doubles and a homer, driving in 19 while tallying a .229 average.
