Request - Group Fundraising Opportunities
Jackrabbit Athletics has multiple fundraising opportunities for groups, which are listed below. For more information, please email Rachael.Anello@sdstate.edu.
1. Post-Event Cleanup Crew
2. Parking Attendants
3. Ushers
4. Wristband Tent Workers
5. Program Sellers
** There is an offered bonus for groups that can commit to an entire athletic season. For example, if your group can work all seven home football games, then your group will receive a bonus to your payment. Priority for signup will go to groups that can commit to an entire season.
1. Post-Event Cleanup Crew
- Involves picking up/disposing of garbage in stadium or arena after home athletic or non-athletic events
- Commitment: post-event
- Requirements: requires a minimum of 20 individuals for stadium events and a minimum of 10 for arena events
2. Parking Attendants
- Manage/enforce parking lots - involves checking parking passes to ensure that vehicles are entering the correct lots
- Commitment: 5 hours prior to kickoff until the start of the first quarter
- Requirements: requires a minimum of 12 individuals
3. Ushers
- Assist fans in finding their seat locations, crowd management, and knowledge of general stadium information (ATM, restrooms, first aid room, mother's room, lost and found, etc.)
- Commitment: 2 hours prior to kickoff until the completion of the event
- Requirements: requires a minimum of 20 individuals
4. Wristband Tent Workers
- Assist UPD in checking IDs for those who want to consume alcohol on football game days
- Involves placing wristbands on those over the age of 21
- Commitment: 5 hours prior to kickoff until kickoff
- Requirements: requires a minimum of 12 individuals
5. Program Sellers
- Selling of football programs at various gate locations on football game day - groups will earn a portion of programs sold
- Commitment: 2 hours prior to kickoff until sold out OR end of the first quarter
- Requirements: requires a minimum of 12 individuals
