Nate Robertson

Nate Robertson joined the South Dakota State baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2025 and will assist in all areas of the program, including serving as first base coach.
Robertson most recently served as an assistant coach for the highly successful Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa, that has made three consecutive appearances in the NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series. In all, he has coached at the youth level on up to collegiate baseball over the past decade. Robertson also coached in recent years with the Burlington Bees of the summer collegiate Prospect League.
A Vermilion native, Robertson earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Mount Marty University. He played catcher for the Lancers' baseball team and later served as a graduate assistant coach.
