2017: Was off to a solid start to the season before suffering a season-ending arm injury the second week of league play … was twice named Summit League Pitcher of the Week, starting with season-opening performance against Chicago State in which he struck out five, did not walk a batter and allowed only three hits to earn the win (2/18) … allowed only two runs over six innings, but did not factor into the decision, versus Maine (2/25) … fanned season-high six batters in six innings as Jackrabbits won first game of doubleheader over Waldorf (3/6) … earned second Summit League Award after striking out five over seven scoreless innings in second game of league-opening series at Omaha (3/18)
2016: Began the season as the team’s No. 1 starter … allowed three earned runs over five innings in season-opening start against Florida Atlantic (2/19) … struck out seven and surrendered two runs in six-inning start at Western Illinois (3/26) … picked up first win of the season after striking out five batters in second game of doubleheader at Fort Wayne as Jackrabbits finished off series sweep (4/3) … credited with win after holding Omaha to two runs over six innings (4/10) … turned in back-to-back strong outings out of the bullpen, not allowing a run in two-inning stint against Mayville State (4/20) and three-inning effort at Omaha (4/24) …. fanned six batters in seven innings of work in series finale against Western Illinois (5/1) … pitched career-best eight innings in home start versus Oral Roberts (5/15) … surrendered three runs and struck out five in pitching seven-plus innings in regular season finale at North Dakota State, a game the Jackrabbits won to advance to Summit League tournament (5/21)
2015: Worked in 13 games, including 11 starts ... ranked third on team with five wins, three of which came in Summit League play ... struck out six batters and allowed only one run over five innings against MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) to earn first win of the season (2/25) ... fanned four in five-inning start to pick up win versus Mississippi Valley State (3/11) ... marked permanent move into starting rotation by striking out career-high seven and surrendering one run in win at Fort Wayne (3/29) ... pitched into the seventh inning as Jackrabbits finished home sweep of North Dakota State (4/12) ... won second start in a row as he limited Omaha to two runs over seven innings, striking out four and not walking a batter in a complete-game effort (4/19) ... hurled 6 1/3 innings to earn fifth win of year, versus Western Illinois (5/3)
2014: Appeared in six games, including three starts during the month of May ... struck out one in collegiate debut at Alabama A&M, a game in which he pitched two-thirds of an inning (2/21) ... credited with first collegiate victory in Snowbird Invitational finale against Baldwin Wallace (Ohio) after pitching three effective innings of relief (3/12) ... pitched two perfect innings in relief stint against Dakota State (4/23) ... allowed two runs and struck out one in first collegiate start, against Omaha (5/4) ... limited to Western Illinois to one run and five hits in seven-inning start (5/11) ... held North Dakota State to one run in three innings in final appearance of season (5/17)
BEFORE SDSU: Was one of the top pitchers in the Twin Cities Metro area as a senior, when he posted a 0.77 earned run average with 42 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings for St. Louis Park High School ... also batted .429 in being named to Metro West All-Star Team ... lettered three times in baseball and was an all-conference selection and team MVP during his junior and senior seasons ... also lettered four times in hockey ... team captain and team MVP during his senior season ... was named to honorable mention all-conference squad two times
