2019: Repeated on the all-Summit League Second Team … his team-leading 92 strikeouts ranked as the fourth-most in a season in program history and his team-best 95 1/3 innings pitched ranked third all-time in a season … moved into eighth place in career strikeouts at SDSU with 173 … made an appearance out of the bullpen during the first week of the season, then settled into a role in the rotation, making 14 starts … in first start, fanned nine and allowed only two runs in six innings, but finished with a no-decision in game the Jackrabbits eventually won against Florida International (2/23) … carried a shutout into the ninth inning of first game of doubleheader versus Western Illinois, ending the day with six strikeouts in 8 1/3 innings … surrendered only one earned run over seven innings with six strikeouts to lead the Jackrabbits to series-opening win over North Dakota State (4/13) … named Summit League Pitcher of the Week after striking out career-high 11 batters over seven innings of two-run baseball versus Western Illinois (4/19) … hurled complete-game four-hit shutout in home series opener against Purdue-Fort Wayne with nine K’s (5/3) … went at least six innings in all 10 of his Summit League starts
2018: Made eight starts in 14 appearances, striking out 57 batters over 52 innings pitched … second on the team in ERA (4.67) and innings pitched in earning second-team all-Summit League … picked off a team-leading two base runners … tossed four scoreless innings while striking out three against Bradley in his first start of the season (2/23) … earned his first win following 6 1/3 innings, giving up three hits at Southeast Missouri (3/3) … struck out career-high 10 batters over six scoreless innings in a win over Omaha (3/31) … threw 4 1/3 innings of one-run ball, striking out seven against Western Illinois (5/12) … allowed just one run over 3 1/3 innings of relief against Western Illinois in Summit League Baseball Championship (5/24)
2017: Appeared in eight games with five starts during freshman season, posting a 2-0 record ... made collegiate debut by allowing only one run over three innings with a pair of strikeouts versus Central Connecticut State (2/24) ... won first collegiate start after fanning seven batters and giving up one earned run in five innings of work against Minnesota-Crookston (3/8) ... started finale at Omaha, a game the Jackrabbits won to sweep three-game series (3/19) ... missed a month due to injury, then returned to the mound by pitching a combined four innings of shutout relief with five strikeouts in appearances against North Dakota State (4/28) and Western Illinois (5/5) ... rejoined the starting rotation by hurling six innings of one-run baseball at Fort Wayne (5/13) ... earned second win of the season by pitching four solid innings against Omaha (5/18) … was SDSU’s starting pitcher in Summit League Baseball Championship opener against North Dakota State, but did not factor into the decision (5/24)
BEFORE SDSU: Received all-state recognition both as a pitcher and position player at Washington High School … earned second-team all-state honors as an outfielder his junior season after batting .405 … also received all-region accolades as a pitcher as a junior after tallying 65 strikeouts with a 1.07 earned run average in 39 1/3 innings … moved up to first team as a pitcher as a senior with a 6-2 record, 1.50 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 37 innings pitched … also batted .437 with two home runs and scored 21 runs in 25 games … Honor Roll student
