Jalen Williams has joined the South Dakota State football program as recruiting assistant for the 2019 season. He will coordinate official and unofficial visits, evaluate prospects and manage all Jackrabbit football social media accounts for recruiting purposes.
Born in Philadelphia, Williams graduated from high school in Easton, Pennsylvania. He ran track at Penn State Harrisburg for two years before transferring to SDSU, where he lettered as a sprinter for the Jackrabbits during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 season.
Williams previously interned for SDSU Athletics in facilities and operations during the 2017-18 sports season and further assisted with facilities during the past academic year. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports, park and recreation management with a minor in management in 2018, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration
