Denilson joined the Jackrabbits as a transfer after beginning his collegiate career at Carson-Newman University in Tennessee … placed 13^th in the 200 backstroke at the 2021 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships and also qualified in the 1,000 freestyle … also has competed internationally as a member of the Zimbabwean Swimming Federation and was a finalist in three backstroke events (50, 100, 200 meters) and 200-meter freestyle at the 2021 Africa Senior Championship
