2023-24: Competed primarily in the distance freestyle and backstroke events during his freshman season … placed 18th in the 1,650 freestyle (16:53.07) at the Summit League Championships … also competed in the 200 (season-best 1:45.60) and 500 (4:46.23) freestyle at the league meet … claimed the 500 freestyle title at Coyote Invitational in season-best time of 4:44.05 to close out the regular season
BEFORE SDSU: Won 11 individual state titles and was a member of numerous state-champion relay teams over a three-year span as a member of the Sioux Falls Swim Team … claimed South Dakota State A Long Course titles in the 100-meter backstroke and repeated in the 400 individual medley in 2023 … also won long-course titles in the 100 breaststroke in 2022, as well as the 100, 400 and 800 freestyle events in 2021 … in state short-course championships, won a pair of titles in the 500-yard freestyle (2021, 2022), 1,000 freestyle (2021) and 100 breaststroke (2021) … competed in the 200-meter freestyle at USA Swimming Futures Championships in both 2022 and 2023 … also a two-time qualifier for Speedo Sectionals
