2024: Played in 22 matches and started 18 as a true freshman … finished second on team with 11 points behind four goals and three assists … had two three-point performances during the season … scored a goal and dished out an assist in the conference-opening Sept. 29 win at Omaha … achieved the same feat in the Nov. 10 Summit League championship victory over Oral Roberts … played 70-plus minutes on four occasions including 74 in the season opener versus Kansas City and in the conference title match against the Golden Eagles … had an assist in SDSU’s tournament semifinal win against Denver (Nov. 7) … was named to The Summit League All-Tournament Team … ended season third on team in both shots (47) and shots on goal (19) … shot total was fifth best in The Summit League and shots on goal total was seventh best.Â

Set Harrisburg's career, season and game records in both goals and assist ... during her time as a Tiger on the pitch, Christensen totaled 78 goals and 59 assists across three varsity seasons and missed a possible fourth year due to injury as a sophomore ... soccer prep tenure concluded in fall of 2023 by helping Harrisburg claim its second consecutive Class AA State Championship ... was the State Championship Most Outstanding Player in the Tigers' title run in 2022 ... both years she earned South Dakota All-State Team honors ... also been a multiple time all-conference selection, served as a captain throughout her high school career and been honored by the state's Coaches Association as the Girls' Soccer Player of the Year ... a standout at the national level as well ... the 2022 South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year, this 2023 saw her earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region accolades and a nod to the organization's All-America Team, serving as the first ever honoree from South Dakota ... along with individual honors, Christensen played a role in a USYS National Championship which earned her a Best XI team selection at the 17u level. She's previously participated in the 2019 USYS President's Cup, winning a 14u national title and earned the Golden Ball honor and a Best XI award ... outside of soccer, Christensen competed in track and field for Harrisburg in the sprint events ... won a bronze medal at the state meet on a relay team and placed as high as seventh individually in the 100 meters ... academically held a 4.0 GPA ... was a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, FCS and HOSA ... plans to major in human biology ... daughter of Eric and Amy.
