Sydney Palmer is in her first season as the team's graduate assistant in 2019-20. A four-year member of the Jackrabbit women's basketball team from 2015-18, Palmer assists with coordinating team travel, on-campus recruiting and organizing camps.
Palmer graduated in May 2018 after a four-year career where she played in a total of 121 games. The Pierre native was a member of the winningest class in SDSU women's basketball history, which earned trips to three NCAA Tournaments including advancing to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time in program history.

Palmer earned her bachelor of science in math from South Dakota State University in 2018, and is currently pursuing a masters degree in business administration.Â
