Chris McDaniel joined the Jackrabbit athletic staff as Broadcast Services Assistant in September of 2019.

His duties include producing video content for all Jackrabbit social media channels as well as shooting and editing home and away events. He also assists coaches and student-athletes with various video projects and helps to manage external video requests and the video content library.

Prior to SDSU, McDaniel most recently shot and edited video with Minnesota United FC and the Detroit Lions as an intern. Before that, he also held video production internships with Iowa State athletics and the Iowa Cubs.

Originally from Ankeny, Iowa, McDaniel graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2017.
