Corey Bulheller was hired to join the coaching staff in May of 2024 as a goalkeeping assistant.Â
Bulheller's first season with the Jackrabbits saw the Yellow and Blue make a run through The Summit League tournament en route to a conference title. Bulheller's group featured a rotation of a pair of goalkeepers that were stellar for SDSU. The Jacks finished the 2024 season by leading the league in goals against average (.770) and finish second in save percentage (.813) while accumulating nine shutouts.Â

Bulheller previously spent three seasons assisting both the men’s and women’s soccer teams as a goalkeepers coach at his alma mater, St. Scholastica, in Duluth, Minn.

Prior to his coaching experience, Bulheller was a goalkeeper for three years at St. Scholastica. He appeared in 35 games during his playing career for the Saints, recording 12 wins and making 146 saves. His best season came as a senior when he played and started in all 22 matches. He had a 1.74 goals against average and made 91 saves. He registered a .700 saves percentage and produced a conference-best seven clean sheets in 2019 en route to earning First Team All-UMAC accolades.

Bulheller is originally from Middleton, England. Prior to his arrival in the United States, Bulheller was a team captain for his Secondary School that won a County Cup championship. He earned his degree from St. Scholastica in psychology.
