Darrian Dimmel joined South Dakota State in August 2024Â and oversees sports medicine duties for the Jackrabbit baseball team.Â
Prior to working at South Dakota State, Dimmel served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for baseball and men's soccer at Presbyterian College. She also worked closely with Football, wrestling, and competitive cheer while at Presbyterian. She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science at Minnesota State University and then continued her education, adding a master's degree in athletic training.Â
While at Presbyterian Dimmel also served as an adjunct professor for PHED 345: Basics in Athletic Training.
