The Jackrabbits had 25 shots on goal to the Jimmies' four. Six different players scored goals for the Jackrabbits.
The match was played in three 30-minute periods instead of having two 45-minute halves.
After a scoreless first period, Chelsea Goosen scored a goal that was assisted by Kaitlin Justice. The second SDSU goal was scored by Kellyn Farrell who was assisted by Danni Healy.
Tory Schiltgen scored the first of four Jackrabbit goals in the third period. Then Vanessa Paswaters scored a goal that was assisted by Heather Hill. Kellie Van Gerpen scored an unassisted goal and, along with Healy, assisted on the final goal of the game scored by Diana Nuss.
Goalkeepers Nicole Lograsso, Brienna Rogers and Daniella Pappas combined to shut out the Jimmies. Lograsso started the game and was replaced by Rogers, who played the second period. Pappas finished in goal in the third period for SDSU.
