The South Dakota State University women's tennis team ended its season on a high note Wednesday, edging the University of Sioux Falls, 5-4, at Hillcrest Courts.
The Jackrabbits ended the season with a 3-16 overall record. On Wednesday, SDSU and the Cougars split the six singles matches, while the Jackrabbits won two of three doubles matches to seal the victory. Carrie Jansen, Nellie Bloomberg and Amy Sanborn won the singles matches for the Jackrabbits.
SDSU will host its Alumni Day Sunday at Hillcrest Courts. Friends of the program also are invited to play, starting at noon.
