"Today wasn't the greatest for the women,"
Ffion Davies said. "We really lacked energy and motivation. We were definitely distracted today and our minds were elsewhere! We need to get together and refocus before we start playing conference matches."
Â
Laura Romero and
Katerina Tretyakova won 6-3 at No. 3 doubles, but it wasn't enough as the Fighting Hawks took No. 1 and No. 2 to win the doubles point.
Â
Morgan Brower dropped a close 3-set match (3-6, 6-3, 10-4) at No. 3.
