iNDIANAPOLIS -- Playing for the first time in more than a month, the South Dakota State University women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision in Summit League cluster play Saturday to host IUPUI.
The Jackrabbits dropped to 1-9 overall and 0-1 against Summit League competition this season. SDSU received singles victories from Pierre natives Emma Wylie and Nellie Bloomberg at the No. 5 and No. 6 slots, respectively.
SDSU also received a victory at No. 3 doubles from Bloomberg and Carrie Jansen, but the Jaguars won the other two doubles matches to claim the final team point.
Cluster play wraps up Sunday as the Jackrabbits are scheduled to face Southern Utah at 9 a.m. Eastern Time and UMKC at 2 p.m. ET.
