The win moves the Jacks to 8-6-2 overall and 5-2 in the Summit League, while UMKC falls to 1-14-1 and 1-5 in the league.
"It was big to come out and score goals," said head coach Lang Wedemeyer. "I think we have been playing good soccer but goals have been hard to come by but I feel we are hitting our stride and peaking at the right time."
Frank sandwiched a pair of goals between scores by Kaitlin Justice, Danni Healy and Courtney Higgins en route to SDSU's largest margin of victory since a 5-0 win over Centenary on Oct. 10, 2008.
The Jacks shredded the Roos defense, out shooting UMKC 32-5, including 8-0 on corner kicks.
Dani Pappas recorded her fourth shutout of the season and improved her record to 5-3-1. Pappas reeled in three saves in the victory.
SDSU returns to action Sunday at 1 p.m. when they host Southern Utah at Fishback Soccer Park.
