Snow in Arkansas cancels softball tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - A layer of snow and freezing temps in Fayetteville, Ark., on Sunday has forced officials at Arkansas to cancel the rest of the Razorback Invitational.
Originally scheduled to play Arkansas and Ball State on Saturday, wet weather forced tournament officials to move the games to Sunday, but the weather worsened on Sunday, effectively ending any chance at playing.
The Jackrabbit softball team now returns to the cold and snow in Brookings, before heading for the Arizona Desert, where they play three games at No. 8 and defending national Champion Arizona State on Friday through Sunday in Tempe, Ariz.
