The Golden Gophers added a run in the sixth inning, but the Jackrabbits pulled to within 5-2 in the seventh inning on an RBI groundout by
Billy Stitz that scored
Eric Cain. Minnesota would tack on a pair of runs in the home half of the seventh. McCallum, who was 3-for-4, doubled to lead off the inning and later scored on a balk. Eric Decker delivered a sacrifice fly for the final run of the game.
