The South Dakota State women's cross country team took a 23rd-place finish with Erin Hargens leading the way in 55th place in a field of 188 competitors Saturday at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill.
Hargens finished the women's 6,000-meter run in 21 minutes 29.65 seconds.
Tera Potts came in second for the Jacks with a 140th-place finish in 23:00.02, while Brooke Wyffels finished in 23:25.44 for a 157th place finish. Laura Bauer followed close behind in 159th with a time of 23:27.18 and Danielle McCann finished in 164th place with a time of 23:39.11.
Krista Creager in 166th place and Katie Boote in 169th place rounded out the Jackrabbits with times of 23:43.18 and 23:49.81, respectively.
The Midwest Regional wraps up the season for the women's cross country team.
