DRAKE
The Bulldogs are heading into Friday nights game looking for their first win of the 2013 campaign. Drake has been outscored 15-7 on the year with the majority of their offense coming through Paige Dusek. Dusek has five goals on the year and she recently had a four-game goal streak snapped last Sunday against Green Bay.
Rebecca Rodgers and Dusek have accounted for 32 of the team's 77 shots.
Last weekend Drake lost to Wyoming on Friday (5-2) and tied Green Bay (1-1) on Sunday.
SDSU trails the all-time series to Drake, 3-5-0.
NORTHERN IOWA
The Panthers won their lone game of the season on Aug. 30 against Eastern Illinois (2-0), since then they have lost three contests in a row.
Northern Iowa has already played three games against Summit League teams. UNI lost to Fort Wayne (2-0) on Aug. 25 and Western Illinois (2-1, 2-0) on Sept. 1 and Sept. 8.
SDSU owns the all-time series over Northern Iowa, 4-0-3.
SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
The Jackrabbits are looking to extend their four game unbeaten streak this weekend. Alyssa Brazil is leading the SDSU attack with three goals and two assists.
The Jackrabbit defense has been solid throughout the first six games. One of the main reasons for the success of the Jackrabbit defense has been the consistent play by the back row and the keeper.
The projected starting defense for SDSU (Ashley Adams, Katie McNeary, Dani Patterson and McKenzie Wolf) has been on the field for the majority of the games. McNeary has played all but three minutes through the first six games and the other three defenders have played 531 minutes or more.
Nicole Inskeep has played all 585 minutes in net and has a save percentage of .815.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Jackrabbits will end non-conference play next weekend at home against Kansas and North Dakota. SDSU will host Kansas on Friday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. and North Dakota on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m.
