The South Dakota State men's swimming and diving team completed the fall season at the Jean Freeman Invitational on Saturday in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Jackrabbits placed in the top 10 in multiple events.
Joseph Weber captured third place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 310.60.
The team of
Maclaine Johnson,
Ben Sieve,
Ben Johnson and Chris Rumrill finished third in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:10.15.
Senior
Tony Mikrut came in fifth in the 100 butterfly (51.38), while
Chase Petersen took sixth in the 100 backstroke (51.87).
In the 200 medley relay, Petersen,
Wyatt Rumrill, Mikrut and
Ben Johnson claim sixth in 1:35.29 and teammates
Matthew Carpenter,
Geoffrey Longhurst,
Spencer Sathre and Sieve placed seventh (1:36.05).
Rumrill rounded out the top 10 finishes capturing fifth in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:05.17.
