The South Dakota State women's golf team makes its first trip to New Mexico when it plays in the Aggie Invitational hosted by New Mexico State in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Monday through Wednesday.
The Jackrabbits, who won the UNO Invitational Sept. 3-4 and the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial Sept. 12-13 and placed second at the Chip-N Club Tournament Sept. 25-27, are among the 10-team field.
Play is Monday through Wednesday at the par-72, 6,358-yard NM State Golf Course. The teams and individuals play 18 holes each day with 8:30 a.m. shotgun starts.
Senior
Hallie Getz leads the Jackrabbits and ranks fifth in The Summit League in stroke average (73.22). The Pierre native won her second collegiate tournament, capturing the Chip-N Club. She tied her own school record by shooting a final round 68. She broke the school record for 36 (139) and 54 holes (213). Getz is now the only Jackrabbit in school history to win two individual titles.
Senior
Megan Mingo's 74.00 stroke average is second on the team and eighth in the league. The Yankton native finished second at the UNO Invitational and tied for seventh in Missouri.
Freshman
Teresa Toscano has two top-five finishes after tying for fourth at the Chip-N Club. She sports a 74.22 stroke average with three rounds of par-or-below.
Senior
Islamiah Fuad has posted a 75.00 stroke average in six rounds. Her best finish was tying for seventh at the MSU/Payne Stewart Invitational.
Freshman
Sydney Bormann returns to the starting lineup after tying for 29
th as an individual at the Chip-N Club. The Parkston native has a 77.44 stroke average and a top-10 finish at the UNO Invitational.
The Jackrabbits are second The Summit League with a 296.67 scoring average.
