GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The South Dakota State women's tennis team defeated Montana 5-2 Saturday afternoon at Choice Health and Fitness in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Morgan Brower topped Hannah Sulz and Lidia Dukic, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.
Maria Laura Velazco and freshman
Emilly Van Dijk won a 6-3 decision over Lidia Dukic and Milica Panic to claim the doubles point.

Rosa, a senior from Espirito Santo, Brazil, beat Sulz, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.

Laura Romero won her first collegiate match with a 6-1, 6-4 mark over Nathalie Joanlanne at No. 4 singles.

At No. 3 singles, sophomore Brower defeated Catherine Orfanos, 6-1, 6-4.
