STANFORD, California—The two-time defending Summit League champion South Dakota State men's golf team played its final round of the season Wednesday, finishing 13
th at the NCAA Stanford Regional.
The Jackrabbits shot a three-round 899 (301-289-309) on the par-70, 6,727-yard Stanford Golf Course. The fourth-ranked and host Cardinal tied with ninth-ranked Baylor to win the regional, firing a three-round 823.
Grant Smith shot a 71 to move up seven spots in the final round to tie for 48th. The senior shot a three-round 218 (75-72-71) with a tournament-high two eagles to go with seven birdies.
Senior
Trevor Tobin finished 62nd, firing a three-round 223 (74-70-79) with 10 birdies.
Sophomore
Alejandro Perazzo finished 70th (75-74-79=228), freshman
Alejandro Restrepo tied for 73rd (83-73-80=236) and sophomore
Jaxon Lynn was 75th (77-74-87=238).
