The South Dakota State track and field program will compete at the 92
nd Howard Wood Dakota Relays May 5-6 in Sioux Falls, S.D.

More than 3,000 athletes from middle schools, high schools, colleges and universitys will be competing at the meet.

On Friday, field events will begin with the men's hammer throw at 10:30 a.m. The women's 4x100-meter relay will get running events started at 2:45 p.m. on Friday. Saturday's field events will get started at 9 a.m. with the women's discus throw and men's and women's long jump. Running events will get underway at 10 a.m. with the women's 100-meter hurdle finals followed by the men's 110-meter hurdles finals.

Several Jackrabbit student-athletes rank in the top-30 nationally.
Rachel King currently stands at 20
th nationally in the 3,000-meter steeplechase after posting a time of 10:10.71 at the Mt. SAC Relays.
Joel Reichow currently ranks 21
st in the 10,000-meter run (28:56.24) and 30
th in the 5,000-meter run (13:53.05). In the 1,500-meter run,
Kyle Burdick ranks 28
th in the nation with a time of 3:42.52.
