Dallas Goedert (Philadelphia Eagles) SDSU: 2014-17
Weekly Notes: Goedert earned his second consecutive NFL start in week four, an overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans, 26-23. He played 40 percent of the offensive snaps (31 plays) and caught both his targets for 13 yards with a 10-yard long.

His first target was on the first drive of the second half. The Eagles were called on a holding penalty that pushed them back to a first-and-18 on the Titans' 48-yard line. Goedert caught a short pass on the left side of the field and ran up the sideline 10 yards before delivering a big hit on the defender and rolling out-of-bounds at Tennessee's 38-yard line.

On the next play, QB Carson Wentz targeted Goedert again, this time down the right sideline. He drew a pass interference call on the defender that placed the ball on Tennessee's 25-yard line - moving up 13 yards. Two plays later, Wentz looked towards the SDSU tight end once more with Goedert catching a three-yard drag route. The opening second-half drive resulted in a 16-yard touchdown pass to put the Eagles ahead, 17-3.

The Titans stormed back to take the lead with 5:06 left to play in the game, 20-17, but the Eagles were able to tie the game with 21 seconds to push the game into overtime. Philadelphia kicked an overtime-opening field goal but Tennessee came back onto the field and answered with a touchdown to seize the game.

Weekly Notes: Vinatieri scored eight points going two-for-two on field goals and two-for-two on point-after attempts. He had makes of 42 and 44 yards in the 37-34 overtime loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon.

The SDSU alum broke the NFL's all-time record for field goals with his 42-yard field goal in the second quarter against the Texans to cut the Colts' deficit to 21-10. The Colts eventually tied the game in the fourth quarter with 45 seconds left after trailing 28-10 midway through the third.

Vinatieri added his 567th career field goal in overtime to take the lead 34-31 with six minutes left. The Houston Texans drove down the field twice and added two field goals to win it.

Vinatieri entered the game tied with NFL Hall of Famer Morten Andersen with 565 career field goals before his record-setting kick at No. 566. He hit a 44-yard field goal in overtime to push his career total to 567.
