After a week off, the South Dakota State women's golf team returns to action for the fifth-annual Aggie Invitational hosted by New Mexico State in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The tournament is Monday through Wednesday at the par-72, 6,358-yard New Mexico State Golf Course. The teams play 18 holes each day with 9:30 a.m. shotgun starts.

The 16-team field includes California Baptist, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, North Dakota, Oral Roberts, Portland State, Southern Utah, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, UC Riverside, Utah Valley, UTEP, UTRGV and Weber State.

The Jacks return to the Aggie Invitational after finishing third in 2016-17. Junior
Teresa Toscano placed eighth, shooting a 225 (78-75-72). SDSU had three players finish in the top 10.

This season, Toscano leads the Jackrabbits and is third The Summit League with a 73.78 stroke average. She won the first tournament of the fall season, the UNO Invitational, and tied for 14
th at the Minnesota Invitational. She has three rounds at-or-below par and seven of nine below 75.

Junior
Sydney Bormann is second on the team with a 77.22 stroke average and had a top-five finish in the season opener.

The Jackrabbits sport a 303.78 stroke average and rank second in The Summit League after nine rounds this fall.
