    The South Dakota State women's basketball team plays its final home game of 2018 tonight when it hosts Savannah State at 7 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.
    The Jacks (6-4) had their home win streak snapped with an 87-79 lost to No. 7 Oregon Wednesday. Madison Guebert and Myah Selland each scored a team-high 21 points to lead three Jackrabbits in double figures in scoring.
    The Tigers are 2-5 on the season after losing 74-51 at Ole Miss Dec. 8.
    Tonight's game is the first meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Tigers.

Noteworthy

Senior Macy Miller needs three points to tie and four points to break the school scoring record.
Sharp shooter Madison Guebert needs eight 3-pointers to become SDSU and The Summit League leader in that category.
South Dakota State was ranked second in Graham Hays' Dec. 12 espnW mid-major poll.
SDSU has the sixth-toughest schedule in the NCAA.
State received one vote in Monday's The Associated Press poll and three votes in the USA Today Coaches poll. The Jacks last received votes in the Nov. 19 AP poll.
Macy Miller has scored 20-or-more points in four games. She averages a team-leading 16.7 points.
Madison Guebert is shooting 55.0 percent (11-20) from 3-point range in the last two outings.
State has held five opponents to 65-or-fewer points, including four to less than 61. Opponents are averaging just 64.0 points in the last five games.
There have been at least three Jackrabbits scoring in double digits eight times this season.
