KNOXVILLE, Tennessee—The South Dakota State women's golf team finished 16th Tuesday at the 22
nd-annual Mercedes-Benz Collegiate.
The Jackrabbits shot a three-round 933 (310-307-316) at the par-71, 5,900-yard Cherokee Country Club. No. 15 Kent State won the 17-team field event, shooting an 870. Kentucky's Leonie Bettel was medalist, firing a five-under-par 208.
Junior
Teresa Toscano tied for 54th, shooting a 229 (73-77-79).
Freshman
Mia Seeman tied for 75
th (82-76-78=236) and classmate
Lani Potter tied for 81
st (77-81-79=237).
Sophomore
Cassidy Laidlaw tied for 85
th (78-79-81=238) and junior
Sydney Bormann finished 90
th (87-75-80=242).
