The South Dakota State women's basketball team closes the weekend with a men's and women's doubleheader and the Pork Classic when it hosts Omaha at 2 p.m. Saturday in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.

SDSU enters Saturday's game atop The Summit League standings with a 6-1 record and a 14-6 overall mark. The Mavericks are tied for eighth with a 1-6 league record and are 6-13 overall.

The Jackrabbits won their fourth consecutive game with an 86-33 rout of North Dakota State Wednesday. All-Summit League candidate Madison Guebert led three Jacks in double-digit scoring with a game-high 23 points.

Omaha lost at Purdue Fort Wayne Thursday, 56-48.

Saturday's game is the 72nd meeting between the Jacks and Mavericks. South Dakota State leads the series 41-30.

Pork Classic
Established in 1972, the Pork Classic provides scholarships for SDSU animal science students interested in pursuing careers in pork production. Funds are raised through a barbecue meal and pork bundle auction.Â

The hot-off-the-grill pork loin BBQ meal will begin at 1 p.m. Serving will end at approximately 3 p.m. Meal tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the game. The meal includes a pork loin sandwich, potato chips, apple sauce and SDSU ice cream.
Supporters of the swine industry and SDSU Department of Animal Science prepare and serve the meal. Smithfield Foods donates the pork loin for the BBQ as well as 20 pork bundles, which are auctioned during the halftime events of the men's basketball game. Additionally, a live hog will be auctioned, with proceeds going to scholarships for South Dakota State University Athletics.

- SDSU has a 489-121 (.801) record in home games. In Summit League home games, the Jacks are 86-8 (.914) and undefeated in six of 11 seasons.
- The Jackrabbits are 285-100 (.740) all-time since joining The Summit League in 2007-08.
- For the eighth time since joining The Summit League, SDSU is off to a start of 6-1 or better.
- Madison Guebert ranks sixth in the country in 3-pointers (63).
- Guebert is shooting 41.2 percent (14-34) from 3-point range in the last five outings.

- Macy Miller has scored 20-or-more points eight times. She averages a team-leading 17.5 points. The point guard ranks 29thin the NCAA in points (350) and 32nd in field goals made (126).
- In the last five games, Miller is averaging 19.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists while shooting 54.2 percent from the field, 44.4 percent from 3-point range and 88.9 percent from the free-throw line.
- State has held 11 opponents to 65-or-fewer points, including eight to less than 60.
- There have been at least three Jackrabbits scoring in double digits 18 times this season.
- South Dakota State ranks among the top 30 nationally in five categories, including 13th in field-goal percentage (47.1) and 14th in assists (339).
