The South Dakota State equestrian team fell to No. 7 TCU 13-6 in its senior day meet Friday.
Following the meet, the Jacks honored seniors, Jacey Chorlton, Bailey Olson, Matilyn Skinner and Whitney Vesey.
The Jacks dropped Equitation over Fences 4-1 after a re-ride dropped Alexa Maiello's score from an 81 to a 77 while TCU's Wynne Weatherly improved her score to an 80. Claire Garduno tallied the Jacks their lone point scoring a 67.
Three career-highs were set in Horsemanship for SDSU, Including Vesey who scored a 76.5 in the final home ride of her career. Jordan Gates (76) and Kodi O'Boyle (74) also reset career-highs, but the Jacks dropped the event 3-1 to put the score at 7-2 in favor of TCU at the halfway point.
Catelyn Hall earned the lone point for SDSU in reining, scoring a 69 to defeat her TCU opponent. The Horned Frogs took the event to push their lead to 11-3 heading into the final event.
The Jacks finished strong, taking Equitation on the Flat 3-2 behind Chorlton's MOP ride scoring a 71. Jessica Martinez (52) and Claire Garduno (53) also earned points with their rides.
SDSU is now 3-6 all-time against TCU, 2-0 in Hunter Seat only matchups and 0-1 in Western only.

The Jacks will head to Dover, DE for a pair of meets March 1-2 against Delaware State and currently ranked No. 8 Oklahoma State, each beginning at 9 a.m.
