WACO, Texas – The South Dakota State equestrian team saw a total of 15 women earn NCEA Academic Honors Thursday afternoon, as announced by the league office.
Eight were named to the Farnam NCEA All-Academic team while 12 earned a spot on the APHA Academic Honor Roll. Five were named on both lists with

Sydney House all receiving the pair of honors.

To earn Farnam NCEA All-Academic First Team, the student-athlete must compete in at least 70 percent of her school's meets, excluding demo or exhibition rides, while also earning a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment.
Second Team requires 60 percent of meets with at least a 3.25 GPA, and Honorable Mention requires 50 percent of meets with a 3.00 GPA.
To be named to the APHA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full time enrollment in the previous Spring and Fall semesters respectively.
